14th JAN 2003 - UT2003 Bonus Pack

Three new modes and nine new maps make up the main talking points of the bonus pack for UT2003. The first new mode will be last man standing, which was actually in the original game so it's not really new. Second is a kind of deathmatch tag game where one player starts as the 'it' player (they also get an increase in movement and health regeneration speed.) and others try to become the 'it' player. The player who stays it for the longest is the winner. The last is a co-op mode where players team up with either AI or human players to try and survive against waves of aliens (the Skaarj will be part of that attacking force).

There is no news on a release date but when it comes I'll post it.

13th JAN 2003 - Snake Skates On PS2 Only

This section (in case you don't know) is where Snake picks up his board and skates around levels from the game, but it doesn't matter now because we won't see any of this. What makes it worse is that no explanation was given by Konami. But not to worry though because the game has so many other features that to keep you entertained and maybe you'll forget all about it.

3rd JAN 2003 - Total War To Rome?

Rumor has it that the next game in the Total War series will be set in the Roman Empire - not a bad choice. But when asked about it, Activision gave the usual "no comment" answer. It will come as no surprise that there will be a next game in the series, but just what will be the setting?

14th DEC 2002 - IGI2 Multiplayer Details

Multiplayer was something that should have been included in the original game what with the huge rolling landscapes, but it wasn't. But Codemasters has listened and got round to it, and it seems they are putting some effort into it. The game will come with 5 maps which will stage objective based gameplay. Similar to Counter-Strike, the game will use a cash based system where players will have to purchase weapons to the list of 30 and pay to get back into the action when they die, you even get to choose where you respawn into the game which is supposed to provide extra tactical thought. PLayers will also get to access the satellite map to gain info on both friendly and enemy players.

4th DEC 2002 - Judge Dredd vs. Judge Death Latest

You take control of Judge Dredd, the law. You must control the citizens of Mega City One and when people step out of line you must decide on the correct punishment. But beware, if you are to harsh - let's say you go around blowing of the head of anyone who makes eye contact at you for example - or your too lenient, let too many innocent folk die, anything like that the higher powers will be all over you (higher powers being in the form of the Special Judicial Service).

The engine that will be used for the gam is very impressive, rag-doll physics will enable more realistic deaths with characters. Bodies will slump over objects and spin when dead - similar to that seen in UT2003. Check out the latest goings on with a preview of Judge Dredd vs. Judge Death at Games Radar.

26th NOV 2002 - UT2003 Bonus Pack
